Ski and Snowboard Lake Louise
Marmot Basin | Norquay | Sunshine Village | Lake Louise | X-Country | Banff Area Ski Map
Lake Louise is an easy 40 mintue drive from Banff townsite. It is the largest ski area in Canada (although Mount Whistler ski area north of Vancouver is a close second). Lake Louise is built on four mountain faces with 106 named ski runs. It is has something for every level of skier and available from every chair lift with a beginner run available from every chair (so a novice could not get trapped on a 4 diamond run by accident). Guided tours are available. Vertical drop is 3,300 feet (1,000 meters+). Snowfall averages 12 feet making this a dreamy ski or snowboard destination!

There are 3 day lounges, restaurants, lounges, and full rental facilities.
