This website will not try to delve into descriptions of all the wildlife in Alberta but we will cover some of the most prominent and some of the most interesting.

One of the most interesting species to roam these parts is the one you can no longer see! Dinosaurs dominated these parts many millions of years ago and you can see their skeletons at one of the most astounding dinosaur museums in the World. The Tyrrell Museum has the largest collection of complete skeletons anywhere and is a wonder of display and imagination.

Your best chance to see wildlife is hiking or horseback riding the many amazing trails of the Mountain Parks.
